As you can see from these two "before" photographs, my new client's "garden" was rather dark and damp.  


It was an inward-looking garden, so I removed the fence and used raised beds to allow in light and borrow the “scenery” of other gardens.


I took the curve of the bay window as the inspiration for the design, and removed two layers of paving to get the damp-proof course working again.


The photograph in the panel to the right, and the header one are photographs of this garden "after" I redesigned it.


My client also wanted an entertaining space and storage for her bicycle.
