An estate in Berkshire

My clients have a beautiful classical landscape garden, with the addition of a rose garden.  It was laid out by their ancestors hence some of the planting, for example along the Church Walk (the photo with the temple front); and in the rose garden is in need of rejuvenation.

In the pool garden, a border of white Cosmos is suggested to lighten the beech hedge on the left; and white Cistus to mirror it along the fence on the right.  Cistus was chosen over Hydrangea because of its ability to thrive without watering in this part of the country.
